Exploring the spice island

6 days

Island of Zanzibar

Relaxation, sport, cultural heritage...

Key points of the trip:

Our expertise

You'll find an impressive choice of hotels on the island. All price ranges are possible, from small guest houses to villas with private swimming pools. Our advisors are here to help you make your choice. We offer accommodation that we know and can guarantee.

Stone Town

Stone Town is the historic quarter of Zanzibar. It takes its name from its unique architecture: the old houses in the heart of the town were built using coral stone and were recognised as part of Zanzibar's heritage by UNESCO in 2000. The narrow streets are teeming with small craft shops.

Spice Island

Zanzibar certainly evokes in everyone's mind a legendary spice trading post of the past. Arab merchants, and in particular the Sultan of Oman, were quick to see the potential of its fertile land and advantageous geographical location. Agriculture in the archipelago is important, particularly the cultivation of cloves.

East Coast

The best beaches are on the east coast of the island. We recommend that you spend at least 3 nights there. Each beach has its own specific characteristics and we can discuss together which one will best suit your stay. The north is more festive, the south more family-oriented. The north is renowned for diving, the south for kite surfing.

Internal flights

To reach the island after your safari on the mainland, we can arrange your internal flight. You can fly to Zanzibar from Arusha or even from the Serengeti airfield for even more comfort. The island has a well-connected international airport on the west coast.

Tailor-made tour

An extra day or two? Another island? An extended safari in the north or south of the country? It's all possible! This trip can be modified in every way, according to your wishes. Your tour must be just right for you. Our advisors are here to help you build the trip of your dreams, step by step.
