The MaasaisMassaï or even Masai (« those who speak the Maa language ») form a tribe of semi-nomadic breeders and warriors in East Africa, living primarily in the centre and south-west of Kenya, as well as in Northern Tanzania.

The Masaïs belong to the Nilotic civilizations group and have migrated from southern Sudan during the XVth century, together with their cattle.

At Corto, we offer special encounters with these people. In particular in our Camp located in The Masai Land, West Kilimanjaro, where we organise small treks, walking safaris, bomas visits and tribal dances around a campfire.

During these encounters, you will feel the authenticity of the moment. This is not a tourist facade or trap, but you will enter a different world, theirs, with a feeling of mutual respect...
