Day 1: ARUSHA – MANYARA

You are greeted by your guide before taking the road towards the Manyara National Park.

The Manyara National Park is 330 square kilometers large, including 230 for the lake. It looks like a long corridor on the western shore of the lake. Part of the great Rift Valley, the west bank consists largely of cliffs above the turquoise waters. The park contains many elephants, giraffes, baboons, lions, impalas, hippos and many species of birds, especially flamingos.

Day 2 : NGORONGORO

We head for the Ngorongoro Crater and spend a day of Game Drive inside the crater.

This is one of the culminating moments of your safari. The sight of the Ngorongoro Crater is simply stunning. The caldera with a diameter of 20 km, covering a mere 260 km2 surface in a 600 m deep crater is home to a permanent population of more than 30,000 animals, a natural paradise. The few rough roads allow viewing and observing almost all the wildlife in the crater.

Day 3, 4 and 5: THE SERENGETI's WILDERBEESTS GREAT MIGRATION

Early morning departure towards the Serengeti Plains

Covering an area of 14.763 km2, Serengeti is the largest and also the oldest National Park in Tanzania. It is undoubtedly one of the most famous wildlife sanctuaries in the world. His plains are renowned for their variety of vegetation including plains, lakes, hills and rock outcrops (kopjes) and the extraordinary concentration of animals. The view of the migration of thousands of wildebeest followed by zebras and buffaloes including their predators in search for water and greener pastures is a breathtaking experience. You will follow their tracks during the game drive.

During this Safari, you will be able to meet the Masai Tribesmen and visit one of their villages. This is done away from the overly-touristic paths, and within respect of their unique culture. If possible, you may even go on a walking safari with a Masai warrior on your side for your protection when you get close to the animals.

It is possible to do a hot air balloon flight for an extra $500 per person.

At 5.00am the Serengeti Balloon Safaris company will come and collect you at your camp to take you the the departure point at Masai Kopjes. You will meet the chief pilot, you will receive a full briefing and witness the balloon inflating. Take off at sun rise, and let the wind take you... The pilot controls accurately the altitude, to sometimes be close to the treetops, offering you a unique viewpoint and endless photographic opportunities. After landing, a full english breakfast is served with champagne in the wild savannah. You will receive a certificate and will be taken back to Seronera (about 9.30am)

Day 6: RETURN TO ARUSHA

Last morning in the Serengeti National Park. You will then take your direct flight back to Arusha. It is possible to connect directly to the island of Zanzibar. Alternatively, you will be picked up by a chauffeur to have lunch before going to take your international flight at the Kilimanjaro International Airport.
